Deer Tick’s latest album is a love letter to their hometown, Providence Rhode, Island. After dropping ‘Coin-O-Matic’ on June 5, they’re out on tour and are making a special stop at WXPN for Free At Noon.
Local musicians Charlie Hall, Black Buttafly, Brittany Luna, Khemist Mayfield, and Laurin Talese are paired with French, Bulgarian, German, Portuguese, and Danish musicians for the first iteration of the program.
Philadelphia’s own Son Little, real name Aaron Earl Livingston, popped by WXPN on a sweltering Friday for Free At Noon, where he delivered his signature brand of smooth and cool R&B and soul.
